Relevos Increibles see Los Guerreros Atlantidas on top

The first Fantasticamania main event in three years on February 22 in Takamatsu would see Mistico and Hiroshi Tanahashi take on the uneasy dissolved alliance of Ultimo Guerrero and Atlantis Jr.

Watch the replay now!

It took some convincing for the former Los Guerreros partners to decide on a starter, but it would be Ultimo Guerrero ultimately starting opposite Tanahashi. The Big Boss would eventually tie up with the Ace, who struggled against Guerrero’s power and size on the mat before being placed in a Romero Special, only relieved from the searing pain as both men’s shoulders touched the mat for a near double pin.

As both stood once more, Tanahashi fired back on the Big Boss, but Guerrero’s strikes proved more powerful. A back elbow and splash out of the corner though would see Ultimo out to the floor, lucha tag rules bringing Atlantis Jr. and Mistico inside.

Now the pace quickened with tijeras exchanges that drew cheers from the crowd. Ultimo tried to assist his partner, but was taken out to the floor, leading Mistico to land a spectacular dive. Tanahashi would be back legal as a result, and was worked over by the would be Los Guerreros, but a Dragon Screw and Slingblade would be followed by a rare cannonball plancha out to the floor from the Ace.

That left Mistico and Atlantis Jr legal in the closing moments of the bout. As Mistico set up for La Mistica, he would be countered by Atlantis, who kept the icon in place on his shoulders and landed the to pick up the win, closing out the first night of the week long tour.
