Matt Riddle’s WWE Absence Reveals Intriguing Detail

Wrestlers lead incredibly busy lives, making it challenging to keep track of their activities. While they usually manage to make it to their scheduled shows, there are instances when last-minute changes need to be made for various reasons. This week, another change occurred, but it appears that the suspected reasons were not accurate.

Earlier this week, WWE Superstar Matt Riddle accused a Port Authority officer of sexual assault at JFK airport in an Instagram post. As a result, Riddle was pulled from this week’s Monday Night Raw and two upcoming live events. However, according to Wrestling Observer Radio, Riddle’s absence was actually due to illness, including a double ear infection and bronchitis. There is currently no information regarding when Riddle is expected to return to WWE TV.

Opinion: This clarification provides a more favorable outlook for Riddle. However, we will have to wait and see when he returns to television. Riddle has faced numerous personal issues outside the ring, some of which were not his fault. Nevertheless, there may come a point where WWE no longer wants to deal with the ongoing drama associated with him, and we might be approaching that tipping point.
