Rumors are circulating that Nia Jax may be making a return to WWE in the near future. According to a report from PWInsider, there has been talk within WWE about the possibility of Jax returning to the company. While her return has not been confirmed, it is worth noting that multiple sources have heard Jax’s name being mentioned recently.
Jax, who is a former RAW Women’s Champion and a two-time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, originally signed with WWE in early 2014 to work in NXT. She was then called up to the main roster in July 2016 and remained there until her release on November 4, 2021, as part of the company’s budget cuts. Jax later revealed that she was let go during a mental health break.
Since leaving WWE, Jax has made appearances at various conventions, but she has not competed for any other wrestling promotions. Her only match since her release in November 2021 was in the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match. Jax made a surprise appearance in January, entering the Rumble at number 30. Although she was eventually eliminated as the 19th participant, it took the efforts of 11 other women to eliminate her.
