That’s a very long time. Injuries are one of the worst things that can happen to any wrestler as you never want to see someone put on the shelf. Unfortunately, no matter how much talent, experience or training that a wrestler can have, there is always the chance that something is going to go wrong. That was the case a few weeks back and now we know just how bad things are.

Back in January, Nikkita Lyons was attacked in the NXT parking lot. Shortly thereafter, Lyons announced that she had suffered a torn ACL and had undergone surgery to repair the injury. Lyons appeared on this week’s edition of NXT and announced that she will be out of action for eleven to twelve months. WWE has still not announced who attacked Lyons in the parking lot.

Lyons is quite the loss. Check out the attack, her announcement, plus some of her time in the ring:

Opinion: Ouch indeed, as that is on the worse ends for time away from the ring. A torn ACL is one of the nastier injuries that any wrestler can suffer and as a result, we are not going to see Lyons in the ring for a very long time. Hopefully that time frame is on the far higher end than expected, as it would be a shame for Lyons to not be able to wrestle until likely next year.

What do you think of Lyons? What should she do when she returns to the ring? Let us know in the comments below.
