September 8 was a disappointing day for NJPW fans as the scheduled NJPW World TV Championship match for Boltin Oleg had to be called off due to his illness. Boltin was suffering from a 39-degree fever caused by an infection in his left wrist. As a result, he will once again be absent from competition on September 9 in Korakuen Hall. We apologize to all the fans who were looking forward to seeing Boltin wrestle and appreciate your understanding during this time.
However, there is still exciting news for tonight’s event in Korakuen Hall. After Zack Sabre Jr successfully defended his NJPW World TV Championship against Ryohei Oiwa on Friday night, he issued a challenge to Satoshi Kojima for a title match. Kojima, never one to back down from a challenge, has accepted and the match will take place tonight instead of the originally planned singles bout for Kojima against Oskar Leube.
