Insider Scoop: Ace Steel’s AEW Future Revealed – Exclusive Details on His Dynamic with Tony Khan

Ace Steel, former producer for AEW, has returned to the company under unique circumstances. After being let go following the All Out brawl in September 2022, Steel was re-hired ahead of the AEW Collision premiere. However, he has not been present at recent TV tapings and will only return if things change.

Reports suggest that Steel is considered an “insurance risk” due to the All Out incident, which is why he is not allowed to attend shows. Despite this, Steel has been in contact with AEW President Tony Khan and has been contributing in some capacity. He also offers suggestions for his long-time friend CM Punk, the current AEW “Real” World Champion on Collision.

It has been speculated that Steel may receive back-pay for the time he was out following All Out 2022. His current AEW contract is set to expire in the Fall of 2024.
