With WWE’s Payback just over a week away, the event is starting to take shape with several matches and segments already announced. This week on SmackDown, WWE made two match announcements and confirmed a segment for the upcoming pay-per-view.
First up, Rey Mysterio will be defending his United States Title against Austin Theory. Mysterio recently won the title from Theory, and now Theory will have a chance to reclaim it at Payback.
Next, LA Knight will be facing off against The Miz in a grudge match. These two superstars have been at odds with each other for weeks, and now they will finally settle their differences in the ring.
Lastly, Cody Rhodes will be making a special guest appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect. There is no word yet on what Rhodes will be discussing, but his presence is sure to add excitement to the show.
