Get Ready for an Explosive AEW Dynamite Episode on September 6, 2023!

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) returns to Indianapolis for an action-packed episode of DYNAMITE on September 6, 2023. The show marks the beginning of the road to GRAND SLAM 2023, and fans can expect thrilling matches, intense rivalries, and exciting developments.

The highlight of the night will be the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament, featuring two quarter-final matches. The first match will see Trent Beretta take on Roderick Strong. Beretta will be looking to prove himself as a top singles competitor, while Strong aims to avenge his friendship with Adam Cole and secure a shot at AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) at Arthur Ashe Stadium on September 20th.

The second quarter-final match will feature Darby Allin facing off against Nick Wayne. Allin, still recovering from a grueling Coffin Match in London and the assault by Luchasaurus, will have to overcome both physical and mental challenges. Wayne, on the other hand, is determined to prove himself and seek redemption after his fallout with AR Fox.

In a tag team bout, Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara) will take on Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis). Jericho and Guevara, reunited after the disbandment of the Jericho Appreciation Society, have set their sights on the tag team championship hunt. However, Aussie Open, former ROH World Tag Team Champions, will provide a tough challenge and aim to send a warning to Jericho and Guevara.

AEW World Champion MJF will also be present to address his encounter with ROH World Television Champion Samoa Joe at ALL OUT 2023. Despite his injured neck, MJF will confront Joe, who is inching closer to becoming the longest-reigning ROH World TV Champ of all time.

Additionally, “Hangman” Adam Page, fresh off his victory in the Over Budget Charity Battle Royal, will speak about his future plans. Page emerged as the winner of the battle royal, earning a $50,000 donation to the Chicago Public Education Fund in his name.

The TBS Championship will be on the line as Kris Statlander defends her title against Emi Sakura. Statlander, known for her fighting spirit, will face Sakura, who is challenging for an AEW championship for the first time since FULL GEAR 2019.

Finally, AEW International Champion Jon Moxley will defend his title against AR Fox. After dethroning Orange Cassidy, Moxley aims to continue the tradition of the Open Challenge. Fox, recently excommunicated from the Mogul Embassy, sees this as an opportunity for redemption and a chance to make a statement against Moxley.
