IMPACT Wrestling has announced that Shark Boy will be making his return at the 1000th episode of the show, which is set to take place on September 9th at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY. The announcement was made on the official IMPACT Wrestling Twitter account, with a tweet that included the show’s updated card and a link to purchase tickets.
Shark Boy, whose real name is Dean Roll, is a beloved character in the world of professional wrestling. He made his debut in the early 2000s and quickly gained a following with his unique gimmick and catchphrase, “Give me a shell yeah!” Despite not being a regular on the IMPACT Wrestling roster in recent years, Shark Boy has remained a fan favorite and his return is sure to be met with excitement from the audience.
The updated card for the 1000th episode of IMPACT Wrestling includes several other exciting matches and moments. One of the highlights will be the return of Feast or Fired, a match where competitors compete for briefcases containing either championship opportunities or pink slips. Another match to look forward to is the return of Ultimate X, a high-flying and high-risk match type that has become synonymous with IMPACT Wrestling. James Storm and Chris Harris, better known as America’s Most Wanted, will be reuniting for a special appearance. Impact Hall of Famers Team 3D will also be reuniting for their first match together since August 2016.
Current Impact World Champion Alex Shelley will be defending his title against Impact World Tag Team Champion Trey Miguel, adding a championship match to the already stacked card. And as the tweet from IMPACT Wrestling mentioned, there will be other current and former IMPACT stars announced for the event, ensuring that fans will be treated to a night of unforgettable moments and surprises.
