On May 21, Hiromu Takahashi and Taiji Ishimori faced off in the headline match of the night on night eight of BOSJ 30 in a sold out Korakuen Hall. The match ended with an injury to Hiromu, however, the match had a gripping start with an apron drop kick by Hiromu. TJP and Ishimori’s BOSJ campaigns ended in defeat due to shoulder injuries. Ishimori was stopped via referee stoppage, while TJP was pinned by Lio Rush after he flipped out of the cross armbreaker’s grip. Ishimori’s Injury, TJP’s Loss. Rush and TJP had an intense match that showcased both men’s signature offense. Rush narrowly escaped TJP’s Mamba Splash and eventually connected with a spear and two of his own offensive maneuvers, Rush Hour and Final Hour, for the win. Mike Bailey also won his match against Ryusuke Taguchi with a cradle pin. Rush and TJP both moved up to the top of their bracket. KUSHIDA emerged triumphant over SHO in a battle for pride with the help of Kevin Knight’s Hoverboard Lock. Titan also won over DOUKI with a counter into Llave Inmortal.
