Exclusive: Shocking Medical Update on Randy Orton’s WWE Future – Backstage Insider Reveals All!

The WWE creative team reportedly has nothing in the works for the return of Randy Orton, but the veteran Superstar is putting on size as he looks forward to a return to the ring.

According to a report from Wrestling Headlines, Randy Orton is getting close to a WWE return. Despite not being factored into any creative plans, Orton is determined to make a comeback.

It was previously reported that Orton was scheduled for a post-WrestleMania 39 return, but “complications happened.” However, WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle provided a positive update on Orton, giving fans hope for his return.

However, as of this past week, WWE creative sources have stated that Orton has not been factored into any plans whatsoever. Furthermore, he has not been medically cleared for in-ring training or action, and there has been no extensive conversation about his future plans.

Despite doctors advising against it, Orton is still determined to return to the ring. He has resumed lifting and has put on significant size. While he has not resumed bumping, it is expected that he will be brought into the WWE Performance Center once he is ready for that stage.

It is worth noting that a lower back fusion, which Orton had surgery for in late 2022, is not typical among pro wrestlers and is uncharted territory for many in the industry.

Although fans may be eager to see Orton back in action, a WWE source has stated that he should not be expected to return at SummerSlam this weekend. Orton has not wrestled since May 2022 and has been on the road to recovery since then.

Orton’s father, WWE Hall of Famer Bob Orton Jr., has provided updates on his son’s progress. He mentioned that Randy was “coming along” and would be back shortly. However, there had been no formal internal discussion about Orton until mid-March, and his father was unsure if he would return to in-ring action.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Orton’s return, fans can stay tuned to WrestlingHeadlines.com for the latest updates on his WWE status and return.
