Exclusive Report: WWE’s Shocking Secret Alterations to Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus Match Revealed

It looks like the highly anticipated match between Becky Lynch and WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will not be taking place at SummerSlam after all. On tonight’s go-home episode of RAW, Adam Pearce granted Lynch her rematch, but the match ended in disqualification when Zoey Stark attacked Lynch. Following a ringside brawl, Pearce announced that Lynch will face Stratus on the August 14 RAW from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. However, Stark will be banned from ringside for this match.

According to a report from Fightful Select, there has been a change in plans for the Lynch vs. Stratus match. Initially, the match was supposed to take place at SummerSlam, but discussions took place over the weekend to move it to WWE Payback on September 2 at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh. Ultimately, WWE officials decided to schedule the match for the August 14 RAW instead.

There have been online rumors suggesting that Lynch may be taking time off around SummerSlam, but Fightful has debunked those rumors, stating that there is nothing to support them.
