Exciting Dynamite Results Unveiled in Live Blog: Thrilling Tournament Semifinals Unfold

AEW Dynamite Results and Live Blog for July 12

AEW’s Canadian tour continued with an action-packed episode of AEW Dynamite on July 12. The show took place at the SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, and featured several exciting matches and developments for the upcoming Blood & Guts event.

The night kicked off with a thrilling match between Chris Jericho and Komander. The young luchador showcased his high-flying skills, but Jericho proved why he is a seasoned veteran. After a hard-fought battle, Jericho secured the victory with his signature submission move, the Liontamer.

Following the match, Don Callis made his entrance and addressed the possibility of Jericho joining the Don Callis Family. He showed old footage of Jericho with Bad News Allen, emphasizing their connection. Jericho seemed intrigued but asked for some time to think it over.

In a backstage interview, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry expressed his frustration with HOOK’s attacks. HOOK interrupted the interview and warned Jungle Boy to keep running, setting up a potential feud between the two.

Don Callis was interviewed backstage by Renee Paquette. Callis announced that he would reveal the fifth member of Blackpool Combat Club at Blood & Guts. He also took a dig at Kenny Omega, calling him a gutless coward.

A video package showed Adam Cole and Maxwell Jacob Friedman’s “team bonding” session. The two wrestlers engaged in playful banter and played a video game together, showcasing their growing camaraderie.

The Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament semifinals saw Darby Allin and Orange Cassidy face off against Jericho Appreciation Society (Daniel Garcia and Sammy Guevara). The match was filled with high-energy action, but ultimately, Jericho Appreciation Society emerged victorious after Guevara hit his finisher, the GTH, on Allin.

In another tournament semifinal match, “Big” Bill Morrissey and Brian Cage took on Better Than You, Bay Bay (Adam Cole and Maxwell Jacob Friedman). Cole and Friedman showcased their teamwork and picked up the win after Cole delivered his finisher, the Boom, on Cage.

A backstage segment featured Adam Cole on the phone, apologizing to Roderick Strong for his friendship with MJF. Cole received a text from MJF, who claimed to be feeling sick, but Cole assured him that he was not sick.

The Owen Hart Foundation Tournament semifinals match between Ruby Soho and Skye Blue was interrupted by interference from Toni Storm. Soho capitalized on the distraction and secured the victory.

Nick Wayne made his debut against Shane “Swerve” Strickland in an intense matchup. Both wrestlers showcased their athleticism and resilience, but Strickland ultimately came out on top with his devastating finisher, the JML Driver.

The show concluded with Don Callis announcing the fifth member of Blackpool Combat Club for Blood & Guts. However, Callis was interrupted by Kenny Omega, who was attacked by PAC and Jon Moxley. PAC revealed himself as the fifth member, but Omega promised that his team, The Elite, would fight back. The lights went out, and a video package revealed that Kota Ibushi would be joining The Elite for Blood & Guts.

Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite promises to be explosive as the rivalry between The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club intensifies. The Golden Lovers will reunite to take on their adversaries, and fans can expect an epic showdown.
