Exciting Debut: Lion’s Den Unveils Spectacular Showcase from New Zealand Dojo!

First Dojo showcase for New Zealand crew

July 29 saw the New Zealand Dojo host the first Lion’s Den showcase under the NJPW TAMASHII brand, with TAMASHII regulars taking on prospects being trained by Bad Luck Fale and Tony Kozina in the Dojo.

The main event would see Kozina teaming with Richard Muly to defeat Jordan Allan Wright and Nikolari Anton Bell after a powerslam from Mulu.

Other matches would see a mix of technical fundamentals being focused on in the NZ Dojo as well as impactful wrestling; Malcom Evans would pin Tyler Illes after a Spear, and Eli Taito would use a standing headbutt to fell Cameron Ahi, while Callum McCallum was successful over Trent Hooper with a LeBell Lock, and Will Driscoll and Elijah Melendez would both find victory with Boston Crabs.

Will Driscoll defeated Cian Devin with a Boston crab, 7:33.

Malcom Evans pinned Tyler Illes after a spear tackle, 7:40.

Callum McCallum defeated Trent Hooper with the LeBell Lock submission, 9:12.

Richard Mulu & Tony Kozina defeated Jordan Allan Wright & Nikolai Anton Bell when Mulu pinned Bell with a running power slam, 14:15.
