WWE SmackDown returned to the Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado for an action-packed night of professional wrestling. The show was headlined by a confrontation between The Rock, Pat McAfee, and Austin Theory, as well as several exciting matches.

The Rock, Pat McAfee, and Austin Theory Segment

The show kicked off with a heated segment featuring The Rock, Pat McAfee, and Austin Theory. McAfee, who was in town for College Game Day, addressed the crowd and expressed his excitement to be a part of the WWE SmackDown experience. Theory interrupted, insulting McAfee and challenging him to a fight. The Rock then made his return to the ring, engaging in a war of words with Theory. The segment ended with The Rock delivering a SpineBuster to Theory and McAfee delivering a People’s Elbow.

AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor

In the first match of the night, AJ Styles took on Finn Balor. Balor attacked Styles before the bell rang, gaining the early advantage. However, Styles fought back and dominated much of the match. The match ended with Balor rolling up Styles for the victory.

The Street Profits vs. Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza

The Street Profits, accompanied by Bobby Lashley, faced off against Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza. The Street Profits showcased their dominance, picking up the win with their finishing move, The Revelation. After the match, Lashley instructed The Street Profits to continue their attack on Wilde and Mendoza.

LA Knight vs. The Miz

LA Knight faced off against The Miz in a highly-anticipated match. Knight displayed his skills and proved why he is a force to be reckoned with in the WWE. He ultimately secured the victory with his signature move, The BFT.

Asuka vs. Bayley

In a hard-fought match, Asuka took on Bayley, accompanied by Damage CTRL. Asuka showed her resilience and determination, ultimately defeating Bayley with a backslide cover.

“The Grayson Waller Effect” with Special Guest: John Cena & Jimmy Uso

The show concluded with an episode of “The Grayson Waller Effect,” featuring special guests John Cena and Jimmy Uso. Waller attempted to provoke Cena, claiming that he is no longer the greatest of all time. Jimmy Uso then confronted Cena, leading to a physical altercation involving Solo Sikoa. AJ Styles came to Cena’s aid, and the show ended with chaos in the ring.
