Drew McIntyre Ready To Wrestle Brock Lesnar Again, Praises His Babyface Run

In a recent interview with Essentially Sports, Drew McIntyre discussed his history with Brock Lesnar. The former WWE Champion thinks they have some unfinished business.

“As far as I’m concerned, not really, because I beat him. We had the run leading up to WrestleMania and then I defeated him for the title. But, you know, if Brock shows back up in my life, I’m ready for the challenge,” McIntyre said.

McIntyre also talked about Lesnar’s babyface turn in 2021 that lasted through the night after WrestleMania 39 earlier this year when he turned heel on Raw by attacking Cody Rhodes.

“There’s nobody like Brock Lesnar. I’ve seen what he’s been up to since last time we tangled, his cowboy run; he’s even more terrifying as a good guy smiling with a cowboy hat on, somehow. He did eliminate me from the Royal Rumble so we’re 1-1 in the Royal Rumble and then I’m 1-0 in singles matches so he’s probably the one who’s looking to come back and even the odds,” McIntyre added.

It seems like Drew McIntyre is ready to step back into the ring with Brock Lesnar. The Scottish Superstar recently sat down for an interview with Essentially Sports where he discussed his history with Lesnar and expressed his desire for a rematch.

McIntyre, who previously defeated Lesnar for the WWE Championship, believes that there is some unfinished business between them. Despite his victory, McIntyre acknowledges that if Lesnar were to return, he would be ready to face the challenge once again.

During the interview, McIntyre also praised Lesnar’s recent babyface run. Lesnar’s character change, which saw him portray a good guy with a cowboy persona, left a lasting impression on McIntyre. He described Lesnar as “terrifying” and admitted that the former Universal Champion eliminated him from the Royal Rumble, making their record 1-1 in the event.

With McIntyre holding the advantage in singles matches, it seems that Lesnar may be the one looking to even the odds. McIntyre’s confidence and willingness to face Lesnar once again only adds fuel to the speculation of a potential rematch between the two powerhouse competitors.

Fans will have to wait and see if McIntyre’s desire for a rematch with Lesnar becomes a reality. However, one thing is for sure – if these two clash in the ring once again, it will undoubtedly be a match for the ages.
