Jade Cargill Seeks Redemption Against Kris Statlander in TBS Championship Rematch

This Friday night on RAMPAGE, TBS Champion Kris Statlander will go one-on-one with Jade Cargill, a rematch from their DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2023 altercation that crowned Statlander the new champion! Plus, there are several other exciting matches scheduled for the event.

The TBS Championship match between Statlander and Cargill promises to be a highly anticipated showdown. At DOUBLE OR NOTHING 2023, Statlander made a triumphant return to the AEW stage after a nine-month absence due to injury. She not only ended Cargill’s record-setting undefeated streak but also her 508-day reign as TBS Champion in just fifty seconds. However, Statlander acknowledged that her victory came under less than ideal circumstances, as she took advantage of Cargill’s fatigue from a previous match. She left the door open for a rematch, and now Cargill seeks to reclaim the title and prove that Statlander’s victory was a fluke.

Adding to the intrigue, Cargill recently made her return to AEW and attacked Statlander after she had been beaten by the Renegade Sisters. This Friday night, the two competitors will finally settle their differences in the ring, with the TBS Championship on the line. Statlander will have the opportunity to prove that she can defeat Cargill under fair conditions, while Cargill aims to validate herself as the superior competitor.

In addition to the TBS Championship match, RAMPAGE will feature several other exciting bouts. The Lucha Brothers (Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix) and The Hardys (Jeff & Matt) will team up to take on Jay Lethal, Jeff Jarrett, The Blade, & The Butcher. Fans can also look forward to a clash between two former ROH World Tag Team Championship teams, as The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett) face off against Christopher Daniels & Matt Sydal. AEW World Trios Champions The Acclaimed will also be in action.
