D’Oh! SmackDown Star’s Mistake Not Being Taken Well On Social Media

It isn’t being well received. WWE has a lot of things going on at once as there are all kinds of stories and matches taking place at any given time. Some of these are more serious or prominent than others, but they are often taking place on national television. That means you might see something not go so well, which was the situation again this week. One particular spot has gotten fans reacting online.

Last week on SmackDown, Natalya and Shotzi were facing Xia Li and Lacey Evans in a qualifying match for the WrestleMania women’s showcase match. At one point, Evans took Shotzi into the corner so Li could take over but forgot to tag out before going to the apron. Evans went on to tag Li from the apron, which has led to an extensive backlash from fans on Twitter:

Social media is always on Lacey Evan’s case.

But *nothing* on her returning to TV and forgetting to tag out?

Not an expressed botchy botch I just laughed. pic.twitter.com/xsb5bCAiNB

It was a messy situation. Check out the clip, plus Evans in some better situations:

Opinion: This doesn’t seem like something that was anything more than a one off gafe from Evans, but that isn’t how it is going to be remembered. I’m never sure what to make of Evans. She is constantly being repackaged in one way or another and some of them have been less successful than others. Hopefully WWE can figure out what to do with her, because she certainly has talent.

What did you think of Evans’ slip up? How should WWE use her? Let us know in the comments below.
