In this interview, Purrazzo expressed her opinions on who she believes could be the next Knockouts World Champion.
Regarding Jordynne Grace, Purrazzo acknowledged that her current status is uncertain as she is a free agent. However, if Grace decides to return to Impact Wrestling, Purrazzo believes she would be a strong contender for the Knockouts World Championship. The last time they faced off was in May at Under Siege, where Purrazzo emerged victorious. Purrazzo thinks that if Grace were to make a comeback, she would be fueled by a desire for vengeance and could potentially become the next Knockouts World Champion.
When it comes to potential future Knockouts Champions, Purrazzo highlighted two individuals who she believes have the ability to carry on the legacy of the championship. The first is KiLynn King, whom Purrazzo describes as “absolutely phenomenal.” Purrazzo expressed her excitement for their upcoming singles match on IMPACT. She praised King’s wrestling skills, attire, and self-awareness, noting that when King breaks away from her current alliance, she will become a formidable force in the division.
Purrazzo also mentioned Giselle Shaw as another candidate for future Knockouts Champion. She praised Shaw’s growth over the past year, stating that Shaw has not only displayed her athleticism but has also mastered the other aspects of professional wrestling. Purrazzo believes that Shaw’s participation in the upcoming four-way match for the Knockouts Tag Team Championships at Emergence could be a defining moment in her career and solidify her as a potential legendary Knockouts World Champion.
Outside of the interview, it was revealed that Deonna Purrazzo recently obtained a Master’s Degree in history from Southern New Hampshire University. This accomplishment showcases Purrazzo’s dedication and commitment to both her academic and professional pursuits.
