First Two Matches Announced for October 28

As NJPW returns to Las Vegas on October 28 for Fighting Spirit Unleashed, CMLL’s super estrella return to the cerulean blue to boot, and are a big part of the first two matches officially announced for Vegas!
The first match announced is a special tribute to the legendary Atlantis, who is celebrating his 40-year career. This eight-man tag team match will feature the iconic Atlantis teaming up with his son Atlantis Jr., as well as two modern icons from Mexico and Japan, Mistico and Hiroshi Tanahashi. On the opposing side, we have Rocky Romero, the ever-spectacular Soberano Jr., the budding star Adrian Quest, and the legendary Tiger Mask. It will be interesting to see if these four can rain on the legendary parade in Vegas.
In tag team action, we will see CMLL’s elite luchadora team up with a rising star from the NJPW Academy. Johnnie Robbie, who has impressed in academy classes and in the LA Dojo’s recent Showcase event, will be put to the test when she teams up with Lluvia. They will be facing off against the formidable duo of Zeuxis and Stephanie Vaquer. Vaquer made a name for herself among NJPW fans back in May during the STRONG Women’s Championship tournament, where her performance against Mercedes Mon? turned a lot of heads and brought the crowd to its feet. She will be looking to make her mark in Vegas tonight in this can’t-miss tag team bout.
