After making appearances at Survivor Series, Monday Night Raw, and Friday Night SmackDown, it only made sense for CM Punk to complete his comeback tour of WWE shows by making a special appearance at NXT Deadline tonight (Sat., Dec. 9, 2023) in Bridgeport, Connecticut. He even teased doing so early in the day.

Sure enough, NXT boss Shawn Michaels started the show and was almost immediately greeted by that familiar static and those loud chants.

After some joking around with good ol’ HBK — Punk was wearing a Bret Hart hoodie — the Straight Edge Star said he had good news and bad news. Except he never actually delivered any good news nor any bad news. He simply mentioned everyone wondering if he would sign with Raw or SmackDown and then teased even possibly signing with NXT.

The crowd chanted for him.

And then his music played.

He laughed, hugged Michaels, said a few words in his ear, and that was that.

Weird!
