CM Punk and Jack Perry Reportedly Involved in Backstage Altercation at AEW: All In London Event
Multiple outlets are reporting that an altercation took place backstage between CM Punk and Jack Perry just minutes before the main card of today’s AEW: All In London event began. This incident appears to be related to a previous disagreement between the two wrestlers over the use of real glass during a pre-taped spot at a Collision taping in July.
Perry, also known as Jungle Boy, wrestled in the final match of the All In pre-show against HOOK. During their match, a spot involving the shattering of a car window led Perry to address the camera and say, “It’s real glass, cry me a river!” This remark was clearly directed at CM Punk.
According to reports from outlets such as Fightful, PW Insider, and F4WOnline, there are conflicting accounts of what transpired during the backstage altercation. One side suggests that Perry initiated physical contact by bumping into Punk, prompting Punk to shove him and apply some form of chokehold. Another side suggests that Punk may have been the initial aggressor and possibly even struck Perry.
