Opening match on the night would see ten man action. Clark Connors showed frustration in the wake of his team’s defeat and attacked the DKC at ringside before pounding away on his now former LA Dojo ally, and landing a massive Jeep Flip. It seemed as if that was the end of things, until a shocking twist in the tale of the second bout of the night.

Finlay would face AEW’s AR Fox. With his work cut out for him to contain the explosive high flier, Finlay was rocked with a second rope stunner, and a rolling cutter from Fox, who had the DC crowd all behind him. A swanton would only meet the knees of the Rebel though, and a Black Thunder Bomb would get two.

Finlay went for the Trash Panda but was caught with a Fire Thunder, and then the Swanton for a very near two, followed by a 450 for an even nearer fall. Finlay would fire back with a snug lariat though and landed the Trash Panda, scoring three.

Post match, Finlay would call out Connors. The Rebel told Connors that ‘Katsuyori Shibata doesn’t see your capabilities but I do’. Finlay continued that ‘BULLET CLUB needs savages like this man right here,’ and with a Too Sweet, Clark Connors became the newest member of the group.
