However, during his time away from his home promotion, Jericho made a surprise appearance at Vietnam Pro Wrestling’s Immortal Glory show in Saigon.
Jericho’s unexpected visit to Vietnam created a buzz among fans in the Southeast Asian country. He took the opportunity to put over Immortal Glory’s main eventers, PCW Ultra Women’s Champion Viva Van and Sumie Sakai, by inducting them into the VPW Hall of Fame.
