Chris Jericho Shockingly Attacks Will Ospreay Ahead of All In!

Professional wrestling fans were treated to an unexpected twist in the ongoing feud between Will Ospreay and Chris Jericho. During their promo exchange and contract signing on last week’s Dynamite, Ospreay revealed that he had worked an indie show the day before their highly anticipated match at All In. Little did he know, Jericho was paying close attention.

Following Ospreay’s victory over Shingo Takagi at RevPro’s 11th Anniversary, a masked man attacked him. As it turns out, the masked man was none other than Chris Jericho himself. Ospreay’s tweet, “It’s all good. See you tomorrow prick @IAmJericho,” confirmed the identity of his assailant.

This is not the first time Jericho has resorted to disguises and surprise attacks. At the original All In event in 2018, Jericho donned a Pentagon Jr. mask to ambush Kenny Omega. It seems that Jericho has a penchant for these types of assaults around All In.

The beatdown on Ospreay continued until his United Empire stablemates, Aussie Open, arrived to chase Jericho off. The attack certainly added fuel to the fire leading up to the match between Ospreay and Jericho at Wembley Stadium on August 27.

While some fans expressed their excitement at seeing Jericho live, there were concerns about the chair shot to Ospreay’s head. Despite this, the attack served its purpose in further hyping the already highly anticipated match.
