This article summarizes the last A Block matches of the Best of the Super Jr. 30 taking place in Osaka on Tuesday and Wednesday. Main event is between Hiromu Takahashi and Titan. Hiromu would advance with a win, while Titan needs to win and for Bailey to win. The two have encountered each other three times in the past with Hiromu having the only win. Lio Rush and Mike Bailey are set to battle in the final night of the Best of the Super Jr. tournament. Both men have had successful campaigns, having previously defeated Hiromu Takahashi and with Mike Bailey’s win over Titan providing a safety net if Lio Rush emerges victorious. DOUKI (3-5) and SHO (3-5) will battle for pride in one of three bouts that will decide the A Block at the top of the card. KUSHIDA (3-5) and Ryusuke Taguchi (0-8) will face-off one last time to prove they belong and can still get it done in BOSJ31. Super J-Cup is the annual tournament where the best Junior Heavyweights from around the world fight for the title of Best of the Super Juniors. DOUKI and SHO have a combined 2-0 singles record in SHO’s favor. KUSHIDA and Taguchi have a combined 5-2 singles record in Taguchi’s favor. Meanwhile Gedo is in as a stand-in for Yujiro Takahashi, who has been removed from the tour due to an injury.

The fourth match of the night will feature Kevin Knight, Master Wato, and YOH from CHAOS teaming up against Just 5 Guys (Taichi, TAKA Michinoku, and Yoshinobu Kanemaru). In the third match, United Empire (Dan Moloney and Francesco Akira) will battle BULLET CLUB (Gedo and Clark Connors). YOH and Kanemaru’s potential match-up could determine the whole block, while all three competitors in the third match are eliminated from the B Block. Akira’s recent performance against El Desperado showed his pride, while Gedo stands-in for the injured Yujiro Takahashi.
