Six man action headlines IMPACT

The main event of IMPACT on AXS TV on March 16 would see six man action as the BULLET CLUB combination of STRONG Openweight Champion KENTA and IMPACT Tag Team Champions Ace Austin and Chris Bey faced the trio of Rich Swann, Frankie Kazarian and IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander.

Bey and Kazarian would start the bout, the veteran Kazarian showing plenty of his own finesse against Ultimate Finesser in an exchange of holds before Bey gained the upper hand. A headscissor take down was followed by a chop in the corner, before Kazarian was brought to the BULLET CLUB corner, but he was able to defuse a double team attempt and connected well with Swann to leave Austin reeling.

Austin bounced back with a stiff strike on the apron before a springboard forearm to Swann, before the mood changed in the match a both Alexander and KENTA tagged in. After a boot from KENTA, a strike exchange soon ensued; Alexander would catch the STRONG champion with a fireman’s carry, and though Austin would try and get involved, the Walking Weapon’s side would have the interference scouted.

Swann had worse luck after a tag, and Austin and Bey were able to strike in effective combination. The IMPACT Tag Team Champions were in full control, and brought in KENTA to bury stiff kicks to Swann. Firing back, Swann would swing with a lariat that took both men down, before a refreshed Kazarian brought high paced offence, a double DDT taking down both tag champions.

After a powerful assist from Alexander, Swann would get two off a 450 on Bey, before the match started to break down. With all six men fighting in and around the ring, Kazarian shocked Bey with a cutter off the apron onto a pile of humanity; Swann would try and capitalize back inside, but a Busaiku Knee from KENTA would break things up for he and Kazarian. Out of nowhere, the Art of the Finesse, and 1-2-Sweet would see the BULLET CLUB side pick up victory.

Austin and Bey defend the IMPACT Tag Team Championships in a four way bout with Aussie Open, Motor City Machineguns and Shane Haste and Bad Dude Tito March 30 at Multiverse United. Order here!
