In a recent press release, New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) announced that two of their top stars, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Boltin Oleg, will be unable to compete in the upcoming Road To Destruction events due to injuries.

Kanemaru suffered a left knee injury during a match at Korakuen Hall on September 9. As a result, he is not cleared to compete in the event scheduled for tomorrow in Funabashi, Chiba, as well as the one on Monday in Ibaraki.

Oleg, on the other hand, is currently recovering from an infection in his left wrist and will also miss the shows on Friday and Monday.

The company expressed their apologies to the fans who were looking forward to seeing both Kanemaru and Oleg in action and appreciated their understanding.

As a result of these unfortunate circumstances, some changes have been made to the card for the upcoming events. In the first match, Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Togi Makabe, Tiger Mask, and Jado will now face Satoshi Kojima, Tomoaki Honma, Yuto Nakashima, and Oskar Leube.

Additionally, in the sixth match, SANADA, Taichi, DOUKI, and TAKA Michinoku will take on EVIL, SHO, Dick Togo, and Yujiro Takahashi.

At this time, there is no set timetable for Kanemaru and Oleg’s return to the ring. NJPW, along with the fans, wishes them both the very best for a full and speedy recovery.
