Blunt Force Trauma’s Carnage and Damage have emerged as the new NWA World Tag Team Champions, capturing the titles on Night One of the NWA’s 75th Anniversary Show. The event took place on Saturday night at Chase’s Khorassan Ballroom in St. Louis, Missouri.
Blunt Force Trauma faced off against the formidable team of La Rebelión’s Bestia 666 and Mecha Wolf in a thrilling match. Accompanied by Aron Stevens, Carnage and Damage showcased their skills and determination, ultimately coming out on top. However, the match was not without its fair share of drama. At one point, Stevens intervened to break up a pin attempt, leading to a heated ringside brawl between him and Vampiro, who accompanied La Rebelión.
This victory marks the first reign as tag team champions for Carnage and Damage. On the other hand, La Rebelión had begun their second reign as champions on August 27, 2022, during Night One of the NWA 74th Anniversary Show. They had defeated Hawx Aerie for the vacant titles and held them for an impressive 364 days. This reign places them as the fourth-longest reigning team in the 31-year history of the titles, which includes the NWA, WCW, WWE, and NWA-TNA.
Blunt Force Trauma’s journey as champions has only just begun. They are set to defend their newly-won titles against Mike Knox and Trevor Murdoch during Night Two of the NWA’s 75th Anniversary Show. The anticipation is high as fans eagerly await this clash of titans.
