WWE is facing an issue with one of its potential next big stars, LA Knight. Last week, there were reports that Knight was close to signing a new five-year extension with WWE. However, according to Fightful Select, the two sides are currently “far apart” on money, and it seems unlikely that a deal will be signed anytime soon. Despite this, the lack of an extension is not expected to change any plans for Knight, as his current deal runs until 2025.

He is arguably the hottest thing in the company at the moment, and it feels like he is entering the biggest stretch of his career. According to Wrestling Rumors, former Intercontinental/US Champion, John Morrison, recently expressed his desire to return to WWE. In an interview, Morrison revealed that he has had conversations with Vince McMahon about a potential return. Morrison has a storied history in WWE and his return would undoubtedly be welcomed by fans.
Opinion: It’s always exciting to see new talent rise in WWE, and LA Knight is definitely someone to keep an eye on. Despite the contract negotiations, it’s clear that WWE sees potential in him and wants to capitalize on his popularity. As for John Morrison, his return would be a nostalgic blast from the past and could bring a fresh dynamic to the current roster.
