AJ Styles is ready to make his long-awaited return to WWE television, but it seems that creative plans are holding him back. According to PWInsider.com’s Mike Johnson, Styles has been cleared to compete for the last three weeks, but WWE has yet to come up with a storyline for his comeback.
Styles was last seen on WWE television in September when he was attacked by the Bloodline faction. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited his return, but it seems that they will have to wait a little longer.
It is surprising that WWE does not have a plan in place for someone of Styles’ caliber. With his incredible in-ring skills and charismatic personality, Styles is more than capable of carrying his own storyline. However, it is possible that WWE wants to avoid overshadowing recent returns by Randy Orton and CM Punk.
Opinion: AJ Styles is one of the most talented wrestlers in the world, and his return to WWE television is highly anticipated. It is unfortunate that creative plans are holding him back, but hopefully, WWE will come up with an exciting storyline for him soon.
