WWE NXT RESULTS AND LIVE BLOG FOR FEB. 7

Focused his mind on something he cared about but it came out a shout just like before. The bogus man is at your heels, but me? I’m just here to liveblog this pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The show opens with a recap of Vengeance Day.

We get footage of Bayley rolling up on the Performance Center earlier, arm in a sling.

Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams make their entrance and get on the mic.

Trick has a big intro for them and says Hayes turned Apollo Crews into Stevie Wonder and Carmelo has a new catchphrase for us: Melo in Two. He said he was gonna get two straight and he did. Apollo had the right vision but the wrong one, and the whole NXT Universe is shook now.

He is everything he says he is, the One, Him, and history doesn’t lie— he’s done everything he said he was gonna do but one more man has to get put on the t-shirt and one event that can hold the both of them, and that man is—

Enter JD McDonagh.

He tells Carmelo that he’s the coolest member of the roster, but in the ring where it matters, he’s not fit to hold his jockstrap. He loves calling himself the A Champ, but he’s not ready for the big title or to be the face of the brand. Hayes says he thought he beat everybody but he left a survivor, and he’s ready.

JD says Hayes is all about private rooms at the club, but he sends men to the emergency room, and he better call 911. Carmelo challenges him to a match tonight and McDonagh steps up to him before backing off.

Kiana James rolls up on Fallon Henley backstage.

Henley is upset James cheated and wants to give Katana Chance and Kayden Carter a rematch, and also insists that Kiana tell Brooks Jensen who she was on the phone with. James demures and they walk through a door into a surprise party thrown by Josh Briggs!

Sol Ruca makes her entrance to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we get footage of the post-Vengeance Day media call where Grayson Waller accosted “Heartbreak Man” Shawn Michaels until Matt Bloom took him away.

Sol Ruca vs. Zoey Stark

Stark with a wristlock, shoulder armbreakers, whip to the corner, up and over, arm drag into an armbar! Hip toss countered into an X-Factor, Ruca dumps her to the floor and lands a couple kicks before throwing her back inside. Short whips, Zoey blasts her with a sliding lariat for two!

Rear chinlock applied, seated, shift to a cravate, rolling through an escape effort, snapmare, Sol lands on her feet, sunset flip for two! Big falling lariat from Stark gets another deep two! Right hands, whip to the corner, sidestep the charge, off the ropes with a shoulder block!

Dropkick, handspring Stinger Splash, scoop but Zoey slips out and lands a crescent kick that sends Ruca to the apron. Shoulder blocks knock Stark down, springboard splash… KNEES ARE UP! Zoey gets her…

Zoey Stark wins by pinfall with the flipping back suplex facebreaker.

Post-match, Stark attacks Ruca some more and Atomic Drops her into the turnbuckles! Sol recovers and lays her out in turn!

A recap of Dabba Kato’s return follows and we see him walking backstage to send us to break.

Back from commercial, we go back to the party for the new women’s tag champs.

Fallon again tries to pressure Kiana into confessing to Brooks but they’re interrupted by disheveled Pretty Deadly arriving and they blame Chase U for not being champions. Andre Chase also has issues and challenges them to a match later, promising to kick the shit out of Pretty Deadly.

Dabba Kato vs. Dante Chen

Kato grabs Chen and slings him to the mat with ease, clubbing blows in the corner, Dante tries to throw some hands but gets easily overwhelmed at first. Boot up, body blows, uppercuts, he manages to get a few good shots in! Off the ropes, pump kick takes the big man down and a double chop lands true!

Off the ropes, Dabba catches him with a chop and picks him up…

Dabba Kato wins by pinfall with a sitout chokebomb.

Post-match, Dabba Kato is interviewed in the ramp.

He says Apollo Crews knows what he did and that’s why he dropped his ass.

We get a recap of the Creeds vs. Indus Sher.

We see footage of Diamond Mine in the trainer’s room as Ivy Nile gets evaluated.

Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre roll up and Isla tries to convince Tatum Paxley that she’s being held down and she needs to admit the fire inside of her and also thinks she attacked Nikkita Lyons. Tatum gives a big long explanation and Dawn says an innocent person would have just said no, and leaves her sputtering.

Isla Dawn makes her entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Roxanne Perez is interviewed.

She’s proud of defending the title and former tag champs Katana Chance and Kayden Carter roll up all upset that they lost their titles and nobody seems to care. They tell her she has no friends and mock her for Cora Jade abandoning her, and challenge her to a match, if she can find a partner.

Isla Dawn vs. Tatum Paxley

Dawn with an arm wringer, Paxley cartwheels out of it, stomp and an elbow, cover for two. Isla turns her around, scissors kick, fireman’s carry dropped throat-first across the top rope! Arm winger, running Meteora… SO CLOSE! Stepping on Tatum’s neck, she fires body blows back, jawbreaker, big elbow and a schoolboy for one.

Right hand from Dawn, Paxley returns the favor, whip across, back elbow! Another elbow, step-up enzuigiri connects, charging in, boot up in the corner! Tatum ducks a lariat, Karelin lift for two! Off the top with a crossbody, Isla rolls away, inverted facelock…

Isla Dawn wins by pinfall with an inverted facelock lariat.

We get a video package for Carmelo Hayes vs. JD McDonagh.

We see a fancy car pull up to the building and someone steps out, and we go to break.

Carmelo Hayes vs. JD McDonagh

Collar and elbow, McDonagh with an armwringer, Hayes slips out! Back to the lockup, side headlock, shot off, block the hip toss, JD steps over, backflip, northern lights, Carmelo lands on his feet! Dribbling an imaginary basketball, McDonagh kicks it out from under him and Hayes runs the ropes!

Shoulder block, leapfrog, boots up but Melo goes over, whip to the corner hard and JD follows with a chop! Whip across again, back body drop to the apron, McDonagh to the floor and Hayes with a plancha! Back inside, cover for two. JD with a pop-up drop and a falling axehandle! Sliding elbow into mounted punches, stomp to the hand!

Back suplex follows, only two and we go to break!

Back from commercial, McDonagh is in control with a grounded Cobra Twist of sorts. Hayes to his feet, whip into the corner, Melo with a scoop and a slam. Upkick, roll through a slam, inside cradle for two! Reversed, back and forth, neither man can end it! Standing Spanish Fly, into the cover… HAYES KICKS OUT!

JD up top, Carmelo with an enzuigiri, getting him in the ropes, Fade Away connects but he can’t capitalize! Springboard, barely connects, suplex spun into an Ace Crusher… STILL NO! Chokeslam reversed, Hayes gets La Mistica for two and then slips the arm-trap crossface on!

McDonagh into the ropes for the break, solebutt, pin, slip out of a powerbomb, JD rocks him with a forearm and hits the Liger Bomb on the second try… CARMELO HAYES WON’T STAY DOWN! Nearfall from Hayes, headbutt from McDonagh… ILJA DRAGUNOV IS HERE! He takes Trick Williams out with an uppercut and Melo takes advantage…

Carmelo Hayes wins by pinfall with an inside cradle.

Post-match, Hayes ducks and Ilja clobbers JD with an elbow! Lining him up for Torpedo Moskau but the coward runs away through the crowd!

Tiffany Stratton is backstage getting ready and Thea Hail is there to talk to her about the TikTok she recorded about Chase U. She doesn’t understand why Stratton has an issue and suddenly remembers she forgot about an essay assignment. Tiffany calls Chase U cringey and annoying and says nobody wants to go there ever.

Hail does some breathing exercises, Stratton interrupts, and Thea calls her shallow and self-centered while Chase U is for everybody, and if she’s not down with that she’s got two words for her— Suck it! What appears to be Alba Fyre appears behind her to drag her off!

We see the Toxics arriving and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we go back to the party for our new women’s tag team champions.

Fallon Henley has something to say to Brooks Jensen and they go back and forth about who should say their thing first. Brooks is celebrating Valentine’s Day with Kiana James next week and he’s so excited Henley doesn’t have the heart to spill the beans on her mystery phone call so she just thanks him for the party again.

Lyra Valkyria vs. Valentina Feroz

Valkyria in control early, slinging her around but Feroz gets a guillotine choke to counter. Northern lights suplex for two, overhead elbows, and Elektra Lopez comes to ringside. Valentina gets away, side headlock, shot off, drop down, leapfrog, tijeras connects!

Lopez throws Feroz the brass knuckles but Lyra takes her out with an enzuigiri! Reverse roundhouse follows…

Lyra Valkyria wins by pinfall with a reverse roundhouse kick.

Post-match, Wendy Choo consoles Perez about the loss.

We get a travelogue video package for Wes Lee for Vengeance Day weekend.

Wes is interviewed backstage.

He says the weekend was dope and points on Donovan Dijak’s gross finger.

Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo roll up to ask to be duly compensated for their assistance. Lee says he doesn’t owe them anything but he’ll be having an open challenge next week and they’re welcome to accept it.

Odyssey Jones makes his entrance and we get the Black History Month vignette spotlighting Kofi Kingston and go to break.

Back from commercial, Tyler Bate cuts a promo calling out Grayson Waller for being disrespectful after his loss at Vengeance Day.

Waller’s suspension is over next week, so if he wants to disrespect someone, why not him instead?

Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs. Odyssey Jones

Stacks charges in, double leg comes up empty, Jones with a side headlock, shoulder blocks, double thrust, a dynamo but Odyssey stops him with a hamhock lariat! A huge biel, Jones shoves him into the corner, back suplex sets him up top, clubbing blows and then a double sledge knocks Lorenzo down!

Kick from the apron, neckbreaker over the top rope, clubbing blows set up a slingshot guillotine leg drop! Back inside after a bit of brawling, Channing lies in wait and charges in…

Channing Lorenzo wins by pinfall with a falling knee to the back of the head.

Jinder Mahal and Indus Sher cut a promo.

They talk about finally getting the respect they desire from devastating the Creed Brothers.

Chase U make their entrance and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Roxanne Perez is interviewed in the parking lot.

She just got off the phone with her tag partner for next week… Meiko Satomura!

Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince & Kit Wilson)

Hudson and Prince to start, Duke throwing him into the turnbuckles, big punches, tags made and Chase goes for nearfalls off a rolling Gedo Clutch but Wilson stays in it. Right hands in the ropes, turning Kit into a drinky bird, low kick for Elton and he smashes him into his own tag partner’s feet!

Pretty Deadly back into it, nearfall off a double team, Andre floats over a suplex, tag to Hudson. Back elbows for Wilson, scoop and a slam, but Kit takes him to the floor and into the steps and we go to break.

Back from commercial, Prince off the ropes with a northern forearm for Hudson! Dragging him over for a tag, Duke reaching, he kicks Elton aside, tags made! Chase in with right hands, big Manhattan Drops for both of ‘em and a knee cuts Prince out of midair! Figure four attempt, back body drop to Elton before locking it on in the middle of the ring!

Prince misses a splash to break it up but Chase lets go anyway, DDT / reverse STO combo on both of ‘em for two! Snake Eyes from Elton, dropping him into a gutbuster, Hudson breaks it up! A little Flip, Flop, & Fly, senton follows, off the ropes, northern lariat dump Kit out of the ring!

Side Russian legsweep from Andre on Elton, the C-H-A-S-E-U stomps follow! Thea Hail returns from backstage frantic and screaming, Duke tends to her while Chase barely fends off a pinning predicament, reversing to one of his own! But Pretty Deadly get on their game…

Pretty Deadly win by pinfall with Spilt Milk on Andre Chase.

Gallus appear from the crowd to stare at Pretty Deadly.

Drew Gulak is backstage chatting with Hank Walker.

Hank asks if he got his sketches for ring gear and Drew says he was impressed. Walker wants to answer Wes Lee’s open challenge next week but—

Charlie Dempsey rolls up to ask if he really thinks he’s ready to fight Wes Lee, and Gulak says he thinks he’s ready for a rematch against Dempsey.

We see Bayley walking backstage and we go to break.

Back from commercial, we get a hype reel for Vengeance Day making Triple H proud.

Commentary hypes next week’s show up.

Bayley makes her entrance and welcomes us to Ding Dong, Hello!

She made it here because she’s the Ultra Role Model and she loves NXT and she loves the girls she’s bringing out here today, two of her absolute favorites, Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne.

They make their entrance and take seats and Bayley says she feels some tension and asks what happened. They bicker and Jacy claims Gigi screwed her out of the title, but Dolin says Roxanne beat her so if anything Jayne cheated her out of the title. Jacy complains of Gigi abandoning her but Dolin says it was sink or swim.’

Jayne claims she doesn’t need Gigi because she’s a star all on her own, and Dolin’s gear made her look like a hobo who banged a Chucky doll. Gigi is surprised she saw her gear looking up at the lights from what she calls the Jacy position.

Bayley asks if they’ve thought about what they’d do as singles stars, and they both say they’re going to the top, which Bayley rightfully calls out as vague. She suggests it’d be quicker and easier with someone who knows you in and out by your side. Dolin admits Toxic Attraction has been her life for almost three years and everyone in the locker room hates her.

Jacy recounts all the terrible things she’s called the roster and says Bayley knows there’s strength in numbers and Damage CTRL is on top of the world right now. Gigi says this place is a shark tank and she needs someone who will have her back. Jayne admits that when she gets pissed she aims for the jugular.

She could say she’ll change but why lie? And in all honesty, no matter what happens Gigi will be her sister. Dolin agrees and Jacy says they can either go separate ways and see what happens, or they could have one more run. Gigi asks if she means at the NXT tag titles before suggesting they run for the main roster tag titles!

Bayley takes no offense but says she’s focusing on the now and they seem like they feel a lot better so let’s bring it back and hug it out. Gigi and Jacy hug it out and stand tall… BUT JAYNE ATTACKS DOLIN ANYWAY! SHE THROWS HER INTO THE DING DONG DOOR AND KICKS HER THROUGH IT!

Jacy crouches over her while Gigi sobs in pain.

That’s the show, folks.
