WWE Lines Up Exciting Championship Matches for Raw

One thing WWE has been great about for some time now is setting up future matches with plenty of time to promote them. They’re also sure to give us quite a few title defenses on free television.

Next week, we’ll be getting at least two more.

Indeed, during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw it was announced that both the men’s and women’s tag team championships will be on the line on next week’s show.

First, Kayden Carter & Katana Chance will finally get their shot at unseating Chelsea Green & Piper Niven. Then, The Creed Brothers will get the tag team title shot they earned by winning a Gauntlet match against The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor & Damian Priest.

But wait! There’s more!

It wasn’t officially announced for next week’s show but GUNTHER agreed to give The Miz another crack at the Intercontinental championship with a special stipulation — should he lose, Miz will never get to challenge for the title again, at least as long as GUNTHER is champion.

Intrigue!

These matches join the already announced Drew McIntyre vs. Seth Rollins world heavyweight championship match scheduled for the “Day 1” episode of Raw on Jan. 1, 2024.
