Backstage Update On Rebel’s AEW Status – Rebel’s absence from All Elite Wrestling has sparked curiosity about her status within the company.
According to reports from Fightful Select, despite her prolonged hiatus, Rebel remains under contract with AEW. Notably, she has been absent from AEW shows for an extended period, coinciding with Britt Baker’s transition to a babyface persona. Additionally, Rebel has ceased working in AEW’s makeup department behind the scenes.
Although there have been internal discussions within AEW regarding her potential return to television, the company currently doesn’t express a desire for her to compete in wrestling matches. If she doesn’t return to the ring before the year’s end, it would mark the first time since 2014 that Rebel hasn’t stepped into the squared circle.
Expressing a keen interest in returning to wrestling action, Rebel has indicated a desire to compete on the independent scene in 2024, highlighting her eagerness to step back into the wrestling ring.
