Grayson Waller, the SmackDown Superstar, is eagerly awaiting tonight’s WWE NXT Deadline 2023 premium live event. Just moments before the final WWE NXT PLE of the year began on the WWE Network on Peacock from Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Waller shared a video on his official Twitter page (X).
In the video, Waller expresses his anticipation for the event and proudly mentions that he is the first-ever Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge winner. He then speculates that Shawn Michaels may hand-pick one of the participants from tonight’s Iron Survivor Challenge match to be his mystery opponent in the U.S. Title Contender Tournament on SmackDown next Friday night.
Waller confidently states, “Because I have a sneaking suspicion someone from this show is going to come to Smackdown on Friday and face me in the Number One Contender Tournament for the United States Championship. If I know Shawn Michaels like I think I know Shawn Michaels, he’s gonna pick someone he thinks he knows can beat me.”
