WWE superstar Braun Strowman recently provided an update on his injury and discussed his plans for the future in an interview with News 18 in India. Strowman, who has been out of action due to a neck fusion surgery, revealed that he has been medically cleared to start lifting weights again.
During the interview, Strowman explained that he had a cervical fusion on his C4 and C5, with a metal plate and four screws inserted in his neck. He expressed his relief at being able to resume his training and regain the weight he lost during his recovery period.
Strowman also paid tribute to his former partner Bray Wyatt, who passed away three months ago. He credited Wyatt with teaching him valuable lessons about navigating the wrestling industry and becoming a better performer in the ring. Strowman emphasized that Wyatt’s influence extended beyond his career, describing him as one of the greatest human beings he had ever met.
Furthermore, Strowman revealed that he has taken on the role of godfather to Wyatt’s son and feels a deep sense of responsibility to carry on his legacy. He expressed his gratitude for being chosen by Wyatt and stated that his return to WWE is not only for himself but also for his late friend.
Looking ahead to his return, Strowman expressed interest in facing Gunther, praising him as the greatest Intercontinental Champion in WWE history. Strowman acknowledged Gunther’s skill and the prestige he has brought to the title, indicating that a match between them would be highly competitive.
Strowman concluded the interview by teasing the arrival of a “whole new monster” upon his return, leaving fans eagerly anticipating his comeback.
