Charlotte Flair Potentially Injured in SmackDown Bout

Uh oh. There are all kinds of injuries in wrestling as it is a very physical sport. There is no way of knowing when someone is going to be hurt and there is always the chance that someone could be put onto the injured list out of nowhere. All you can do is hope that things are not as bad as they may seem and that is the case again, as a WWE Superstar appears to be hurt.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: He’s Back: WWE Hall Of Famer Makes Special Appearance This Week On SmackDown

This week’s SmackDown featured Asuka defeating Charlotte in a singles match. The match included a commercial break and when the show came back, referee Charles Robinson was seen checking on Charlotte, with the match ending shortly thereafter. According to PWInsider.com, Charlotte was injured during the break when she got tangled in the ring ropes and wrenched her knee while also hitting her head. There is no word on the severity of her injuries or if she will miss any ring time.

That wasn’t good. Check out the match, plus Charlotte in better times:

Opinion: What matters here is Charlotte being healthy, as that could be a rather nasty situation. Charlotte was able to finish the match, but it did seem to be wrapped up rather quickly after it came back from break. A knee can be a rather serious injury and now we can’t do much but wait to see just how bad things are, as she could be missing some time if things go badly.

What did you think of the match? What does it mean if Charlotte will be out of action? Let us know in the comments below.
