The Undertaker Reveals Vince McMahon’s Fury in Shocking Incident

The Undertaker Recalls A Situation Where Vince McMahon Was Livid With Him

In a recent episode of Six Feet Under, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker shared an interesting story about a time when he was told he was losing the WWE Championship to Steve Austin just 36 days after winning the title from him at WWE Over The Edge 1999. The Undertaker revealed that Vince McMahon was furious and wanted to make some changes.

According to The Undertaker, Vince McMahon gathered Stone Cold Steve Austin, Triple H, Kane, and himself in a room and expressed his frustration. McMahon believed that “something is not working right” and decided that Austin would go over The Undertaker that night to switch the title back on TV. The Undertaker mentioned that he couldn’t recall if it was done live on TV or at a pay-per-view event.

The Undertaker also mentioned that he wasn’t sure what changes were made for the other wrestlers in the room, but for him, the only thing that was changing was him dropping the title back to Steve Austin. McMahon had always preferred a babyface champion, and it seemed like the pressure was falling on The Undertaker.

Reflecting on the situation, The Undertaker said, “These are guys that I respect the absolute most and now we’re in a room together and it’s basically all falling on me.” McMahon made it clear to The Undertaker that he wasn’t getting the job done as champion and that he had to drop the title that night. He also warned Triple H and Kane to get their act together, or they would be next.

Triple H, who was also present in the room, approached The Undertaker afterwards and expressed his sympathy, saying, “You didn’t deserve that.” The Undertaker replied, “You know what, I don’t think I did deserve that.”

It’s always interesting to hear behind-the-scenes stories from WWE legends like The Undertaker. These stories shed light on the pressures and challenges that wrestlers face in their careers, and the decisions that are made behind closed doors.
