The IWGP Tag Team Champions, Bishamon, needed two more points to solidify their position in the tournament. They faced off against Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer. YOSHI-HASHI started the match by trading strikes with Suzuki, but soon regretted that decision as Suzuki and Nagata took advantage of their opponents on the outside of the ring. Bishamon fought back with double team offense on Nagata, but Suzuki and Nagata seemed to have their number. However, Goto managed to pull off a rare Goto-Ishiki for the surprise victory.

In a crucial match to stay in the tournament, Soberano Jr. and Atlantis Jr. faced Hikuleo and El Phantasmo of the Guerrillas of Destiny.
