Ricochet Returns to WWE After Concussion

During the 4way Intercontinental championship #1 contender match on the Nov. 6 episode of Raw, Ricochet got “rocked”. Sources later told the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Ric “had no memory of anything that happened in much of the match”, which included him going against script by kicking out of a cover on instinct.

Memory loss was the main symptom Ricochet experienced (per the Observer, he “was said to be feeling fine” otherwise), and that’s more than enough to land a wrestler in WWE’s concussion protocol.

Since those initial reports, we haven’t heard much about Ricochet’s status. We also hadn’t seen him on television or in the ring. But that changed this past Saturday night (Dec. 2) at WWE’s house show in Bangor, Maine. The One and Only returned, picking up a win over Bronson Reed in his first match in over a month.

After a month-long absence, Ricochet made his triumphant return to the WWE ring at the house show in Bangor, Maine. The high-flying superstar picked up a victory over Bronson Reed, showing no signs of his previous concussion.

Back on the Nov. 6 episode of Raw, Ricochet suffered a concussion during a 4-way Intercontinental championship #1 contender match. Sources revealed that he had no memory of most of the match, but was feeling fine otherwise. The concussion resulted in Ricochet being placed in WWE’s concussion protocol.
