Tony Khan Provides Update on Bryan Danielson’s Future with AEW

In a recent interview with The Athletic, AEW President Tony Khan shared some exciting news regarding Bryan Danielson’s future with the company. Khan confirmed that Danielson’s full-time run with AEW will conclude in 2024, but fans can still expect to see him make sporadic appearances in the future.

According to Khan, he and Danielson made an agreement three years prior to AEW All In 2024. The agreement stipulated that Danielson would wrestle full-time for three years. Even before the expiration of the agreement, Khan expressed his desire for Danielson to stay with the company. While his full-time run will come to an end in 2024, Danielson will continue to be a part of AEW in spirit and make occasional appearances.

This Saturday on Collision, Danielson will be returning to action as he takes on Eddie Kingston in the Continental Classic tournament. The highly anticipated match comes after Danielson’s brief hiatus due to a broken orbital bone inflicted by Andrade El Idolo.
