Cody Rhodes, also known as the American Nightmare, is gearing up for WarGames at WWE Survivor Series. Rhodes will be teaming with Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso to take on the Judgment Day in the annual cage match. In a recent interview with Gabby on Gabby AF, Rhodes discussed the possibility of his team wearing matching gear and his uncertainty about painting his face.

When asked about the team’s gear, Rhodes mentioned that he has entrusted the design decisions to Sandra, who has been doing an excellent job. He explained, “I kind of let Sandra, Sandra kind of just does her thing now. We’ve grown so much that the American Nightmare aspect of it…we have brand guidelines now. ‘Hey, the shoulder scales have to be there.’ She’s got this list of things she knows she had to hit, but then she has a lot of fun.” Rhodes expressed his belief that Sandra will likely incorporate elements from the WarGames poster into their gear. However, he expressed uncertainty about whether they would paint their faces in camouflage style due to his personal struggles with PTSD from his previous character, Stardust.

Rhodes said, “I don’t know if we’re painting up camo-wise our faces, just because I still have terrible PTSD over when I used to paint my face, but I’d like to see our team kind of do something cohesive. That would be fun, even if it’s our own way of being cohesive, but we’ll see.” He acknowledged that their team might show up looking dramatically different from each other, unlike the Judgment Day, who are a fully functioning group of friends. Rhodes admitted, “They are legit friends, which is crazy. So we’ve got our work cut out for us.”

In another interview, Cody Rhodes reflected on his monumental loss to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39. He admitted that he still doesn’t know how to feel about it until he gets the opportunity to “finish his story.” For more details on this interview, you can read the article on Wrestling Headlines.
