AEW Video Game Street Fight Ends with Surprising High Score

The ratings and viewership data for this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite have been released, and the numbers are in. According to Wrestlenomics, Dynamite garnered 823,000 viewers and a 0.28 rating in the coveted 18-49 year old demographic. These figures show a slight improvement from last week’s 804,000 viewers and 0.27 demo rating, and are nearly identical to the results from two weeks ago. It is worth noting that these numbers are also very similar to what Dynamite achieved last year on the week before Thanksgiving.

However, despite these stable numbers, it seems that Dynamite is struggling to regain its momentum and reach the 900K and 0.30+ range it enjoyed prior to the return of the NBA. The recent Sega-sponsored Like a Dragon Street Fight did help boost the viewership slightly compared to the previous week, but the increase is not significant enough to make a substantial impact. Some may dismiss it as mere noise rather than a significant signal.

There is hope, though, as AEW owner Tony Khan has teased a mystery signing at this Saturday’s Full Gear pay-per-view event. This signing could potentially generate interest and excitement for next week’s episode of Dynamite, which will serve as the fallout show on the eve of Thanksgiving.
