QT Marshall’s AEW Status Revealed: Exclusive Backstage Update on his Deal and VP Responsibilities

AAA Latin American Champion QT Marshall has signed a short-term contract extension with AEW, where he also works as Vice President of Show & Creative Coordination.

According to a report from Fightful Select, Marshall’s new deal will keep him locked in with AEW through 2023. This comes after he briefly worked without a contract. Marshall had been in negotiations with the company for a new deal, and a short contract extension was discussed and ultimately signed.

Marshall has been a valuable asset to AEW both in front of and behind the camera. In addition to being a performer, he holds the position of Vice President of Show & Creative Coordination. He has been with the company since the summer of 2019, initially working as an Associate Producer before being promoted to his current role in August 2022.

During his time with AEW, Marshall has been involved in various projects and has contributed to the development of several talents. He is credited with producing what is believed to be Jade Cargill’s last AEW match, a rematch against AEW TBS Champion Kris Statlander, which will air on tonight’s episode of Rampage.

Marshall’s contributions to AEW extend beyond the wrestling ring. He leads the QTV faction, consisting of Johnny TV, Powerhouse Hobbs, Aaron Solo, and Harley Cameron. Additionally, he runs The Nightmare Factory wrestling school in Georgia alongside Cody Rhodes.

Outside of AEW, Marshall has also made appearances for AAA. He debuted for the promotion on July 15 at Triplemania XXXI: Tijuana, defeating Penta El Zero Miedo in an Ambulance Match. He went on to win the vacant AAA Latin American Title at Triplemania XXXI: Mexico City on August 12 in a Fatal 4-Way match against Penta, Dralístico, and Texano Jr.

Marshall’s commitment to AEW and his work ethic have made him an important asset for the company. Despite briefly working without a contract, he continued to fulfill his duties both on and off-camera. His new contract extension ensures that he will remain with AEW through 2023.
