NXT’s Round Robin Tournament: Unveiling the Electrifying Standings!

WWE NXT’s Global Heritage Invitational tournament is in full swing, and the competition is heating up. With the first round robin matches completed, the standings are starting to take shape. Let’s take a closer look at the tournament and the current standings.

The Global Heritage Invitational features eight competitors divided into two groups. Each wrestler will face the other three men in their group, with two points awarded for a win, no points for a loss, and one point for a draw. The group winners will then compete in a single elimination match for a shot at Noam Dar and the Heritage Cup during the upcoming No Mercy PLE event on September 30th.

After two episodes of NXT and one match on Level Up, all but one competitor has wrestled at least one tournament match. On the September 5th episode of NXT, Nathan Frazer bounced back from a loss to Joe Coffey by defeating Duke Hudson. Hudson had previously picked up two points in his match against Akira Tozawa on Level Up.

Butch and Axiom of SmackDown had the first draw of the tournament, as neither competitor could secure a pin or submission within the 12-minute time limit.

Here are the current standings:

Group A:

  • Butch: 3 points (1-0-1)
  • Axiom: 1 point (0-0-1)
  • Tyler Bate: 0 points (0-0)
  • Charlie Dempsey: 0 points (0-1)

Group B:

  • Joe Coffey: 2 points (1-0)
  • Nathan Frazer: 2 points (1-1)
  • Duke Hudson: 2 points (1-1)
  • Akira Tozawa: 0 points (0-1)

The action continues on the upcoming episode of Level Up, where Coffey and Tozawa will be in action. Additionally, Tyler Bate will finally enter the tournament when he takes on Axiom.
