WWE Payback Big Spoiler Update, Match Order and More Revealed for Tonight
It’s almost time for WWE Payback, and there have been some major updates and spoilers revealed for tonight’s event. According to Wrestling Headlines, it appears that John Cena will be serving as the special guest referee for the match between LA Knight and The Miz. This is an exciting development that is sure to add an extra layer of excitement to the match.
In addition to Cena’s involvement, there are also some question marks surrounding Rey Mysterio’s match against Austin Theory for the United States Title. Fightful Select reports that Mysterio’s name appears on internal run sheets with some uncertainty. Despite this, the match is still scheduled to take place and is currently set to be the third match of the night.
Here is the planned match order for tonight’s WWE Payback, along with the allotted times:
- Steel Cage Match (18 minutes)
Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus - Promo with host John Cena (10 minutes)
- LA Knight vs. The Miz with John Cena as special referee (15 minutes)
- WWE United States Title Match (15 minutes)
Austin Theory vs. Rey Mysterio (c) - Steel City Street Fight for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles (18 minutes)
Finn Balor and Damian Priest vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn (c) - The Grayson Waller Effect (10 minutes)
Grayson Waller interviews Cody Rhodes - WWE Women’s World Title Match (18 minutes)
Raquel Rodriguez vs. Rhea Ripley (c) - WWE World Heavyweight Title Match (20 minutes)
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Seth Rollins (c)
