Seth Rollins is gearing up for an epic showdown with Shinsuke Nakamura at tonight’s WWE Payback event in Pittsburgh. The current WWE World Heavyweight Champion expressed his excitement for the match during a recent interview on the After The Bell podcast with Corey Graves.
Rollins acknowledged Nakamura’s impressive in-ring skills and catalog of matches, stating, “He’s a dangerous cat. You look at his catalog, it’s second to none. He’s one of the greatest in-ring performers there is.” Rollins also expressed his enthusiasm for fans finally getting to witness the version of Nakamura that he and Graves fell in love with years ago.
Rollins believes that both he and Nakamura are at the top of their game and that their clash at Payback will be something special. He said, “The only issue for him is I’m also vibing and also feeling myself. We’re two dudes at the top of our game. It’s going to be special. A few years ago, some people might have called this a dream match. I think now, more than ever, it’s a dream match. The fact that we have the World Heavyweight Championship on the line, it’s only going to add to it and it’s going to be a special night for both of us.”
