Nick Aldis Opens Up About WWE Role, Assures Fans He’s Far from Retiring

Nick Aldis, also known as the National Treasure, recently spoke about his current trial run in WWE and addressed rumors about his retirement from wrestling. While it has been confirmed by his wife, Mickie James, that Aldis is shadowing to become a producer for WWE, he wants to make it clear that this does not mean he is done as a competitor.

In an interview with Niko Knows Best, Aldis expressed that he feels like he is in his prime at 36 years old. He believes that because he started his career on a national/international stage at a young age, people often mistakenly assume he is older than he actually is. Aldis stated, “I’m 36. I’m very much in my prime. Wait a minute, where is all this discussion about being done wrestling come from? Everyone needs to chill.”

It’s important to note that Aldis recently left the NWA at the beginning of the year and had a short stint with IMPACT Wrestling. However, he is now exploring a different role within WWE while still keeping his wrestling career alive.
