Schiavone revealed that while everything felt normal leading up to the event, the magnitude of the occasion truly hit him when he stepped into the ring. He described the experience as “pretty special” and emphasized the significance of the event.
However, Schiavone also mentioned that backstage, where he spent most of his day, it felt like just another wrestling show. He explained that they went through the usual routines, had their own rooms, and enjoyed catering. But once they walked from backstage to the actual pitch, they realized the monumental nature of the event. Schiavone shared that it was an unbelievable feeling when he walked out and saw the massive crowd.
Reflecting on his time with AEW, Schiavone expressed gratitude for the entire experience. He mentioned that his life with AEW has been surreal for almost five years, with great fans and great times. He emphasized the need to maintain the momentum and keep moving forward.
