WWE Superstars and Staff Pay Touching Tribute to Bray Wyatt with Emotional Tattoo Session

Several WWE superstars and employees paid tribute to the late Bray Wyatt by getting matching tattoos of his moth logo. The tattoos were done at DeepSearch Tattoo in Clarksville, Indiana, by artists Joey Cox and Greg Mosier. The group of 15 individuals, including Braun Strowman, Mike Rome, Karrion Kross, Shotzi, WWE Director of Longterm Creative Rob Fee, and others, all got the same tribute tattoo in different locations on their bodies.

Kross had the tattoo added to the top of his wrist, while Strowman opted for his inner forearm. Shotzi chose to have it placed just below her knee, Fee had it done just above his elbow, and Rome got the tribute on his lower leg.

The tattoo session took place after Friday’s WWE SmackDown in Louisville, Kentucky, which served as a special show to remember Wyatt and WWE Hall of Famer Terry Funk, who also passed away recently. Mosier expressed his gratitude for being able to tattoo the logo on the WWE staff members, emphasizing the love, storytelling, laughter, and memories that were shared during the session.

Cox, who attended SmackDown as well, posted a clip of the show-closing tribute to Wyatt and mentioned how the wrestlers were sharing their favorite memories of him during the tattoo session. He described it as one of the most special moments he has ever been a part of and expressed his heartache and joy in hearing the stories about Wyatt.

The group photo of the tattooed individuals was shared on Instagram by Cox and Mosier, with both artists expressing their gratitude for being able to contribute to keeping Wyatt’s legacy alive. Photographer Dale Best, who was invited to capture the moment, also shared his experience, highlighting the emotional conversations and memories shared by the superstars and crew.

The tribute tattoos were a heartfelt gesture from Wyatt’s colleagues and friends in the wrestling industry, showing their love and appreciation for the impact he had on their lives. The tattoos serve as a permanent reminder of the firefly that Wyatt embodied throughout his career.
